The stuff that actually helped me heal, feel human again, and survive those first few weeks.
This list is regularly updated as I find things that actually work.
4th Trimester Caddy

Mr.Pen – Medium – Caddy Organizer
A postpartum caddy is honestly a MUST. Especially if you have more than one bathroom because the last thing you want postpartum is running around the house trying to find your stuff. Just grab it and go wherever you need it.
And once you’re out of the postpartum stage? It makes the perfect diaper caddy too
Better Than Hospital Peri Bottle

Frida Mom – Upside Down Peri Bottle
The hospital gives you a peri bottle… but TRUST ME, upgrade it. This one is way easier to use, easier to clean, and honestly a postpartum lifesaver. I used mine constantly because the last thing you want postpartum is “touching the damage” every time you go to the bathroom.
A must for keeping yourself clean, I even bring it into the shower with me.
My Ride or Die Postpartum Undies

Frida Mom 8pc Postpartum Underwear
I basically lived in these disposable undies postpartum. They were breathable, super comfy, and way more durable than I expected. They held all the postpartum products in place without feeling bulky or uncomfortable, and honestly kept everything feeling supported while my belly slowly went back down.
Nobody warns you that after each baby, it takes a little longer to shrink back down.
Tucks: Tiny Pads, Big Relief

These were seriously amazing as they helped so much with the pain, swelling, and all the soreness from the stitches and tearing. They felt cool and soothing, honestly like a tiny spa treatment for your poor postpartum self. If you’re dealing with burning, itching, or just feeling wrecked down there, these gave almost immediate relief.
And once you’re past the sore and painful stage, these are still amazing for help with postpartum hemorrhoids.
Icecicles for Your Lady Parts

Frida Mom 2-in-1 Postpartum Pads, Absorbent Perineal Ice Maxi Pads
These postpartum ice pads were honestly one of those “WHY did nobody warn me I’d need these?” recovery essentials. Especially, if the hospital doesn’t give you enough (or you fly through them way faster than expected), having extras at home is SO worth it.
The cooling relief after birth is unmatched and made those first few postpartum days way more manageable.
The Blue Spray Savior

Dermoplast Pain, Burn & Itch Relief Spray
Listen… this little blue spray deserves an award for postpartum recovery.
If you know, you KNOW. Between soreness, swelling, stitches, and feeling like you got hit by a truck after birth, this stuff was one of the few things that brought instant relief. Especially paired with ice pads? Elite combo.
The hospital usually gives you one… but personally, I always liked having an extra at home because I went through it FAST postpartum.
Loved It More Than the Hospital Pads

The Honey Pot Company – Sanitary Pads for Women – Non-Herbal
Soft, comfortable, and didn’t feel like I was wearing a diaper made out of sandpaper for once. Especially, during those overnight postpartum days when everything is already sore and overstimulating, comfort MATTERS.
I loved having these at home because hospital pads only last so long before you realize postpartum bleeding is basically a full-time job for a bit. Definitely one of those little recovery essentials I kept rebuying.
Pain Relief I Refused to Run Out Of

Between the cramping, soreness, recovery aches, and just feeling physically DONE, alternating Tylenol and Motrin helped me stay functional those first few days postpartum. Especially once the hospital meds wore off and reality kicked in.
These two basically became my postpartum emotional support meds after having babies.
